Courses Education and Training (IFTS)

These courses are aimed at developing professional expertise for immediate entry into the labor market.
The courses are free because approved and funded by the Piedmont Region through the European Social Fund, together with the MIUR (Ministry of Education, University and Research).
For at least 50% of the total hours of the course Teachers are experts from the world of work, who have completed at least 5 years of experience in the professional field concerning the subjects taught.

Who are aimed

Recipients of the Sense of Education and Training (IFTS) are young and old, employed or unemployed in possession:
- diploma of secondary education degree (former school);
or
- admission to the fifth year of high school courses;
or
- for non-graduates after verification of skills sufficient to follow the course gained in previous courses of education, training and work.
In order to provide access to courses IFTS also employed , have created special flexibility.

How long and when they start

They duration of 800 hours (two semesters), with classes in the afternoon-evening, so as to allow the participation of workers.
These courses are provided internship of at least 240 hours .
courses can only begin to completion of the classes and will still need to be completed by June 30, 2012.

Licences issued

Courses of Education and Training (IFTS) issue a certificate of technical specialization and a Certificate of Regional Specialization, valid throughout the national territory .
There are also intermediate certificates.
